Description
Air Fryer Juicy Chicken Thighs — crispy golden skin and juicy inside, no marinating required, ready in under 25 minutes.
Ingredients
6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika (smoked optional)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped parsley or lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat air fryer to 200 °C (400 °F) for 5 minutes.
2. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
3. Mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
4. Rub seasoning blend over chicken thighs.
5. Arrange chicken skin-side down in air fryer basket. Cook for 12 minutes.
6. Flip skin-side up and cook another 10–12 minutes until golden and internal temp is 74 °C (165 °F).
7. Rest 5 minutes, garnish with parsley or lemon, and serve.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
Preheating helps crisp the skin immediately.
Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 180 °C (350 °F) for 5 minutes to restore crispiness.
