Description

These crispy air fryer turkey and cheese sliders are quick to prepare and full of flavor. Perfect for gatherings or easy weeknight dinners, they feature juicy turkey, melty cheese, and crunchy toasted buns—all made healthier in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (brioche, pretzel, or gluten-free)
  • 1 lb sliced deli turkey or shredded cooked turkey breast
  • 6 slices cheddar, provolone, or mozzarella cheese (cut in halves)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • 2 tbsp mustard (optional)
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves, chopped
  • 6 pickle slices (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil spray or melted butter (for toasting buns)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Toast slider buns lightly in a toaster or air fryer for 1–2 minutes.

  3. Assemble each slider: bottom bun, turkey slices, cheese, tomato, lettuce, condiments, and top bun.

  4. Spray the tops of the sliders lightly with olive oil or brush with melted butter.

  5. Place sliders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.

  6. Air fry for 4–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  7. Check for doneness and crispiness; cook for 1-minute increments if needed.

  8. Serve immediately, or keep warm in a 200°F (90°C) oven while preparing more batches.
