Description
Beef Stroganoff Slow Cooker is rich, creamy, and comforting. Tender beef simmered in a mushroom sauce with sour cream for an easy, classic meal everyone loves.
Ingredients
1½–2 lbs beef stew meat or sirloin, sliced
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
1 cup sour cream
Egg noodles, cooked separately
Instructions
1. Add the sliced beef, diced onion, and minced garlic into the slow cooker.
2. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir gently to coat everything evenly.
4. Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
5. Turn off the slow cooker, then stir in the sour cream until smooth and creamy.
6. Serve warm over cooked egg noodles and top with chopped parsley or chives.
Notes
To store: Cool completely, then refrigerate in airtight containers for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
To reheat: Warm gently on the stove or in the microwave with a splash of milk or broth to keep the sauce creamy.
Serving ideas: Serve over egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes with a sprinkle of parsley.
Tips: Use sirloin for tender meat and add the sour cream at the end to prevent curdling.
