Description

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of day-old bread, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • Optional: whipped cream or ice cream for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
