Description
A refreshing, tangy, and authentic German cucumber salad made with cucumbers, vinegar, and fresh dill.
Ingredients
- 2 large cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- Peel and slice cucumbers thinly. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 15 minutes to draw out excess water.
- Mix vinegar, sugar, and water in a bowl. Add cucumbers and toss.
- Let the salad marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor. Serve chilled.
Notes
You can add more dill or try apple cider vinegar for a different flavor.
