Description

Creamy Parmesan Chicken Breast is a rich, cheesy skillet meal ready in 25 minutes with minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 lb)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil and half the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining butter and garlic to skillet; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning; simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken, spoon sauce over, and cook 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half but expect a thinner sauce. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
