Description
Creamy Parmesan Chicken Breast is a rich, cheesy skillet meal ready in 25 minutes with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 lb)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil and half the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining butter and garlic to skillet; sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken, spoon sauce over, and cook 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half but expect a thinner sauce. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
