Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season the chicken breasts with ranch seasoning and black pepper.
Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add heavy cream, chicken broth, cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until smooth.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.
Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
Use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese for extra protein.
This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
