Ingredients

6 lbs boneless, skinless turkey breast

1 large onion, sliced

4 tbsp butter, melted

2 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 cup juices from the crockpot

1 cup chicken broth

2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the turkey.

4. To make the gravy: Pour 1 cup of cooking juices from the crockpot into a saucepan. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

5. Whisk together cornstarch and cold water, then slowly pour it into the simmering juices, stirring until the gravy thickens and turns glossy.

6. Slice the turkey and serve it warm with the rich, savory gravy drizzled on top.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like rosemary or sage to the crockpot before cooking.

Always sear the turkey before slow cooking it locks in juices and adds deep flavor.

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.

Leftovers are perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or adding to soups.
