Description
This Crockpot Turkey Breast is a juicy, hands-off main dish made with pantry staples and cooked low and slow until tender. Perfect for holidays or easy weeknight meals.
Ingredients
3–4 lb turkey breast (bone-in or boneless)
1 packet onion soup mix (dry)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Optional: rosemary, thyme, sliced onion for added flavor
Instructions
1. Place the turkey breast into the crockpot, skin-side up if using bone-in.
2. In a small bowl, mix onion soup mix, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
3. Sprinkle seasoning mix evenly over the turkey breast.
4. Pour chicken broth around the sides of the turkey, not directly over it.
5. Drizzle melted butter on top of the turkey for extra flavor and moisture.
6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or until the turkey reaches 165°F internally.
7. If desired, broil the turkey for 5–10 minutes to crisp the skin.
8. Let the turkey rest 10 minutes, then slice and spoon broth over before serving.
Notes
Use low-sodium broth to better control salt levels.
To make a quick gravy, reduce 2 cups of the broth with cornstarch or flour on the stove.
Great for meal prep and leftovers — stores well in the fridge or freezer.
