Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder as a substitute)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (or whole wheat/gluten-free tortillas)
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Dice the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Mince fresh garlic or measure garlic powder. Grate the cheese.
  • In a bowl, season the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter or add olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave for easier folding.
  • Place a tortilla on a flat surface, sprinkle a layer of cheese in the center, add a portion of cooked chicken, and top with more cheese.
  • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly to create the wrap.
  • Toast the assembled wrap in a clean skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm with your favorite side dish or dipping sauce.
