This Easy Crockpot Taco Casserole Recipe is the ultimate comfort food. Layered with ground beef, tortillas, and cheese, it’s a simple, flavorful meal the whole family will love.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 8 flour tortillas, cut into strips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef and season with taco seasoning. Drain excess fat.
  2. Layer the crockpot with tortillas, followed by beef, black beans, onions, peppers, and salsa.
  3. Top with cheese and repeat layers.
  4. Cook on low for 3-4 hours until the cheese is melted and the casserole is hot.
  5. Serve with sour cream and cilantro on top.
