This easy Peach Crisp recipe is a delicious summer dessert made with fresh peaches and a buttery, crispy topping.
Ingredients
5–6 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Slice the peaches and place them in a baking dish.
3. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the peaches and mix to coat.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt.
5. Add the cold butter and work it into the dry ingredients until crumbly.
6. Spread the topping over the peaches evenly.
7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, swap the flour for a gluten-free blend and use certified gluten-free oats.
For extra crunch, consider adding chopped nuts like almonds or pecans to the topping.
