This Easy Ranch Chicken Crockpot Bake is rich, creamy, and bursting with cheesy ranch flavor. Tender chicken slow-cooked with cream cheese, cheddar, and savory turkey bacon makes for an effortless and satisfying meal everyone will crave.
Ingredients
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 2 lb
Dry ranch seasoning – 1 packet or 2 Tbsp homemade
Cream cheese – 8 oz
Shredded cheddar cheese – 1½ cups
Milk – ½ cup
Cooked turkey bacon, chopped – 4 slices
Minced garlic – 2 cloves
Salt and black pepper – to taste
Paprika – 1 tsp (optional)
Fresh parsley or chives – chopped, for garnish
Instructions
1. Grease a 6-quart slow cooker insert.
2. Place chicken in bottom and season with ranch, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Add minced garlic over chicken.
4. Top with cubes of cream cheese.
5. Pour in milk around the edges.
6. Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours.
7. 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle cheddar and chopped turkey bacon on top.
8. Cover and let cheese melt.
9. Garnish with parsley or chives before serving.
Notes
Thighs can be used for juicier results.
Add bell peppers or broccoli in the last hour.
Make your own ranch mix to control sodium.
Use low-fat cheese to reduce calories.
