Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80% lean)

2 slices bread, soaked in 1/4 cup milk

1/2 cup finely diced onion

1 large egg, beaten

2 tsp Grandma’s seasoning blend (salt, pepper, parsley)

1/3 cup ketchup (for glaze)

1 tbsp brown sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Line a baking sheet or loaf pan with foil.

3. In a bowl, mix soaked bread, beef, onion, egg, and seasoning until just combined.

4. Form into a loaf (about 3×7 inches) and place on the pan.

5. Mix ketchup and brown sugar, then spread on top of loaf.

6. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160°F.

7. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Use milk-soaked bread for a moist texture.

Don’t overmix to keep the loaf tender.

For a deeper flavor, let the loaf rest before cutting.
