Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup French fried onions
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3-5 minutes until slightly tender, then drain.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Add the green beans to the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
- Pour the green bean mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on top (optional).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle French fried onions on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
