Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 head butter lettuce or romaine, leaves separated
  • Optional toppings: diced avocado, shredded cheese, salsa, Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft.
  2. Add garlic and ground turkey. Cook until turkey is browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 more minutes.
  4. Finish with lime juice and stir to combine.
