Description

Crispy, cinnamon-coated churro bites made healthier in the air fryer—no oil, no frying, just sweet, golden bites of bliss.


Ingredients

½ cup oat flour

¼ cup unsweetened applesauce

2 tbsp almond milk

1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

¼ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp coconut sugar

½ tsp cinnamon

Olive oil spray (optional)


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix oat flour, baking powder, applesauce, almond milk, vanilla, and maple syrup into a dough.

2. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.

3. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

4. Air fry bites for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.

5. Mix coconut sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

6. While warm, toss churro bites in cinnamon sugar.

Notes

For crunchier bites, lightly spray with olive oil before air frying. These pair well with yogurt dips or fruit purees.
