This 30-minute honey balsamic fig chicken is juicy, savory, and packed with sweet-tangy flavor from pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup fresh or soaked dried figs (halved)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chopped rosemary
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear chicken 3-4 mins each side.
- Add balsamic, honey, figs, and rosemary.
- Simmer on low for 10–15 mins or until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
- Serve warm with your choice of sides.
Notes
Use fresh figs when in season. Dried figs should be rehydrated before adding.
