Description

This 30-minute honey balsamic fig chicken is juicy, savory, and packed with sweet-tangy flavor from pantry staples.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh or soaked dried figs (halved)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chopped rosemary
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear chicken 3-4 mins each side.
  3. Add balsamic, honey, figs, and rosemary.
  4. Simmer on low for 10–15 mins or until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
  5. Serve warm with your choice of sides.

Notes

Use fresh figs when in season. Dried figs should be rehydrated before adding.
