Description
Juicy garlic butter chicken breast cooks in one pan for an easy, flavorful dinner with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 lb)
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry; season with garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil and half the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden; remove and set aside.
- Add remaining butter and garlic to skillet; sauté until fragrant.
- Add a splash of water or broth to deglaze, scraping up browned bits.
- Return chicken; spoon sauce over and cook to 165°F internal temperature.
- Garnish with parsley (and lemon, if using) and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Use broth instead of water for extra flavor. Try chicken thighs if preferred.
