Description

Juicy garlic butter chicken breast cooks in one pan for an easy, flavorful dinner with minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 lb)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry; season with garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat oil and half the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden; remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining butter and garlic to skillet; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add a splash of water or broth to deglaze, scraping up browned bits.
  6. Return chicken; spoon sauce over and cook to 165°F internal temperature.
  7. Garnish with parsley (and lemon, if using) and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Use broth instead of water for extra flavor. Try chicken thighs if preferred.
