Description

This Matcha Tiramisu recipe combines the creamy richness of traditional tiramisu with the earthy flavors of matcha. A perfect dessert for matcha lovers!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup matcha powder
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thickened.
  • In another bowl, dissolve the matcha powder in hot water and stir in honey (if using).
  • Quickly dip the ladyfingers in the matcha mixture, ensuring they are not soaked too long.
  • Layer the soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish.
  • Spread a layer of mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat the process to form another layer of ladyfingers and mascarpone.
  • Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Before serving, dust with matcha powder and cocoa powder for garnish.

Notes

  • You can substitute honey with maple syrup or agave syrup if you prefer a different sweetener.
  • For a stronger matcha flavor, add a little more matcha powder to the cream mixture.
