Description
This honey garlic chicken breast is unbelievably juicy, sticky-sweet, and packed with flavor. A one-pan meal ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley or sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken breasts for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over for another 1–2 minutes.
- Serve immediately with optional garnish.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Pairs well with rice or steamed vegetables.
