Ingredients
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons milk
1 large egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 square (≈1 oz) good quality chocolate (for lava center)
Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
2. Add melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla. Mix gently until smooth.
3. Make a small well in the center of the batter. Insert chocolate square.
4. Microwave on high for 60 to 90 seconds, depending on your microwave’s power. Center should be gooey.
5. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
