Mini Salisbury Meatballs are a fun, bite-sized twist on the classic comfort food. Juicy beef meatballs simmered in savory mushroom gravy—perfect as appetizers or hearty dinner bites.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (85%)

1 small onion, finely minced

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

8 oz mushrooms, sliced

2 cups beef broth

1 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp cold water

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

3. Shape into 16 mini meatballs and place on the baking sheet.

4. (Optional) Brown meatballs in a skillet for extra flavor.

5. Bake for 15–18 minutes until fully cooked.

6. Sauté mushrooms in skillet, then add beef broth.

7. Whisk cornstarch and cold water into broth to thicken.

8. Add baked meatballs to skillet and simmer in gravy for 5 minutes.

9. Serve warm.

Notes

You can prepare meatballs in advance and freeze them. To reheat, simmer in gravy until hot. Great over mashed potatoes, noodles, or as sliders.
