One-Pan Ribeye Steak Dinner

Description

A juicy, flavorful one-pan ribeye steak dinner ready in under 30 minutes with simple ingredients and minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak (11.5 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme
  • 1 cup baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 cup asparagus or green beans

Instructions

  1. Bring steak to room temp. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat cast iron pan over high heat. Add oil.
  3. Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side. Add butter, garlic, herbs. Baste.
  4. Remove steak to rest. Add potatoes and asparagus to pan, cook in drippings.
  5. Slice steak. Serve with veggies and pan juices.

Notes

For rare doneness, reduce cook time. Add red wine to pan for a quick sauce.
