Description

This easy pecan pie dip recipe is a deliciously creamy dessert that combines caramel, toasted pecans, and a smooth base. It’s perfect for any gathering, served with a variety of dippers like graham crackers, apple slices, and pretzels.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for spiced version)

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until fully combined and creamy.
  • Fold in 3/4 of the chopped pecans and a few tablespoons of caramel sauce.
  • Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and spread evenly.
  • Drizzle the top with the remaining caramel sauce.
  • Sprinkle the remaining chopped pecans over the top, and optionally, add toffee bits for extra crunch.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Serve with your choice of dippers such as graham crackers, pretzels, and apple slices.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, add mini chocolate chips to the dip.
  • You can make this dip ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • To make this dip dairy-free, swap the cream cheese and heavy cream with non-dairy alternatives.
