Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the cubed potatoes until tender, then mash with butter, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Brown the ground beef, then add onions, garlic, and vegetables. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and beef broth. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the meat mixture in a baking dish, then top with mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
