Description

Ingredients

lbs beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced

1 cup beef broth

½ cup soy sauce

¼ cup brown sugar

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp grated ginger

3 cups broccoli florets

2 tbsp cornstarch

3 tbsp water

Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish


Instructions

1. Add sliced beef, beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger to the slow cooker.

2. Stir well, cover, and cook on LOW for 5 hours until the beef is tender.

3. Mix cornstarch and water until smooth.

4. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.

5. Add broccoli florets and stir gently to coat.

6. Cover and cook another 30 minutes until the sauce is glossy and broccoli is tender.

7. Serve over rice and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

To store: Refrigerate in airtight containers for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

To reheat: Warm gently on stovetop or microwave with a splash of broth if needed.
