Description
This Slow Cooker Chicken & Stuffing recipe is cozy, creamy, and full of nostalgic flavor. Tender chicken, buttery stuffing, and creamy soup come together in a hands-off crockpot classic.
Ingredients
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs – 2 lb
Stuffing mix (boxed, herbed) – 1 box (6 oz)
Chicken broth – 2 cups
Cream of mushroom soup – 1 can (10.5 oz)
Butter, melted – 2 Tbsp
Minced garlic – 2 cloves
Dried herbs (sage, thyme, rosemary) – 1 tsp each
Salt & black pepper – to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped – for garnish
Instructions
1. Grease the slow cooker lightly.
2. Place chicken in bottom, season with salt, pepper, and garlic.
3. In a bowl, whisk broth and soup until smooth.
4. Pour mixture over chicken.
5. Sprinkle stuffing mix on top and drizzle melted butter.
6. Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours.
7. If stuffing is soggy, cook on High uncovered for last 20–30 minutes.
8. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Swap cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken or celery.
Use thighs for juicier texture.
Add poultry seasoning to stuffing for extra flavor.
