Description
Southern-Style Peach Pie Bars with Cinnamon Glaze are buttery, fruity, and drizzled with warm cinnamon goodness.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 cups sliced peaches
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
- Mix flour, sugar, butter, and salt into coarse crumbs.
- Press half the mix into pan and bake 15 minutes.
- Simmer peaches, brown sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and cinnamon until thickened.
- Spread over crust, top with remaining mix, and bake 30 minutes.
- Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled bars.
- Slice and enjoy!
Notes
Chill before slicing for neater bars. Store in fridge for up to 5 days.
