Description

Southern-Style Peach Pie Bars with Cinnamon Glaze are buttery, fruity, and drizzled with warm cinnamon goodness.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 cups sliced peaches
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, butter, and salt into coarse crumbs.
  3. Press half the mix into pan and bake 15 minutes.
  4. Simmer peaches, brown sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and cinnamon until thickened.
  5. Spread over crust, top with remaining mix, and bake 30 minutes.
  6. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled bars.
  7. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Chill before slicing for neater bars. Store in fridge for up to 5 days.
