Description
A restaurant-style baked salmon inspired by Texas Roadhouse—tender, flaky fish with a sweet buttery glaze baked and broiled to golden perfection.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (6–8 oz each)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp soy sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
2. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and pat dry with a paper towel.
3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, and lemon juice.
4. Simmer the glaze for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, then remove from heat.
5. Brush half the glaze over the salmon. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily.
6. Switch oven to broil. Brush with remaining glaze and broil for 1–2 minutes until golden.
7. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
For best results, use center-cut salmon with skin on.
Make the glaze ahead and store refrigerated for up to 3 days.
Pair with roasted vegetables or garlic mashed potatoes.
