Ingredients
- 2 fresh tuna steaks (6–8 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro) for garnish
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the tuna steaks with the marinade mixture on both sides.
- Place the tuna steaks on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer your tuna more cooked.
- Remove the tuna from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with lemon wedges.

- You can also sear the tuna steaks in a hot skillet if you don’t have access to a grill.
