Description

A warm, cozy spiced apple crisp with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves baked to golden perfection. Perfect for fall gatherings and sweet cravings.


Ingredients

6 medium apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp)

2 tbsp granulated sugar

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1 tbsp lemon juice

Pinch of salt

— Crumble Topping —

3/4 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13″ baking dish.

2. Toss sliced apples with sugar, spices, lemon juice, and salt. Let rest 10 minutes.

3. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add cold butter and blend until crumbly.

4. Spread apple mixture in baking dish. Top evenly with crumble.

5. Bake for 40–45 minutes until topping is golden and filling is bubbling.

6. Let cool 10–15 minutes before serving. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Use a mix of apple types for deeper flavor.

Store leftovers in fridge for up to 4 days.

Crisp can be frozen before baking and stored for 2 months.
