Ultra Juicy Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs—crispy skin, rich garlic butter sauce, and one-pan cooking perfection in under an hour.
Ingredients
6 bone‑in, skin‑on chicken thighs
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup (50 g) unsalted butter, room temperature
4–6 cloves garlic, minced
Optional: 1 tsp fresh parsley or thyme, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high. Place chicken skin-side down and sear for 5–7 minutes until golden.
3. Reduce heat, push chicken aside, and melt butter. Add minced garlic; cook 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
4. Spoon garlic butter over thighs. Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 25–35 minutes until internal temp is 74 °C (165 °F).
5. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Spoon pan juices over chicken and garnish with herbs.
Notes
Use room-temperature butter for easier melting.
For crispier skin, roast 3–5 minutes longer at the end.
Letting the chicken rest helps retain juices.
